WHAT DO YOU THINK? How’s the plan going to transform walking and cycling in Greater Manchester?

It’s been three years since walking and cycling Commissioner Chris Boardman’s vision and plan to transform walking & cycling in Greater Manchester was agreed by the GM Combined Authority* – so we thought it would be a good time to take a temperature check via a survey.

Please tell us via our anonymous questionnaire – which is embedded below or if easier you can head to the form here.

Please also share this widely as the more responses we get the more powerful the feedback.

*The Bee Network is a 10-year plan to make walking short journeys easier and more natural than driving and provide an 1,800 mile network to support a big increase in cycling too, that was agreed in autumn 2017 following the publication of Boardman’s Made to Move strategy.

This shift plays a central role in delivering Greater Manchester’s transport promise – for at least 50% of all trips to be made by sustainable modes of transport by 2040 (which equates to at least 1 million fewer car journeys, every single day).

Our snapshot three-year verdict is here.
