Pavement parking comes up time and time again in every public meeting about better walking and cycling.
In London it is banned.
In Scotland it is banned.
The Department for Transport is finally reviewing it in England and will make their recommendation this year.
But we want action sooner than that.
So for now let’s have a crackdown on anti-social and obstructive parking.
We can’t just rely on police and councils to patrol it, but we can do more to empower communities to make it socially unacceptable.
